It’s Fall….

Are you wondering what to do in your garden now?  The air is crisp, freezing nights are upon us and you may be wondering, can I just put this garden to bed yet?  Well, not just yet. Now is the time to tidy up, dead head flowers, remove old growth and compost, clean up beds, and keep watering once a week until November.

What to do with the falling leaves? Nothing! Yep, that’s right. Sweep leaves onto your garden beds or native grass areas and let rest. This will help tuck your beds to sleep when winter hits. Save the energy of bagging and storing leaves until late winter when it matters. Now pour yourself some tea and enjoy these lovely days.
