Tuesday Tips: It’s hot.

tuesdaytiptomatocoverI’ll be the first to admit that I’m thrilled with all this monsoon rain but it’s summer and it’s hot. Some days the veggie garden can look sad and wilty from all the heat. If that’s the case at your house it might be a good time to try covering your garden with dappled shade. I’ve noticed it make’s a huge difference with my plants. Anything will work, such as a worn out trampoline net, white threadbare bed sheets or a lightweight mesh from the hardware store.  Give it a try and let’s see if your veggies smile!
