Did you know I wanted to be a landscape architect at age 10? I’ve spent almost 20 years helping homeowners and developers dream landscapes become a reality. My friend Jennifer, over at Mrs. Robbin Sparkles, even did a blog post on it. You can read that here.
When I was little I remember my dad and I regularly re-arranging the furniture in my room. It was fun to see how many different configurations we could create in one single space.
Guess what? We never lifted a finger. How? Being my dad was and still is a landscape architect he had an overall plan of our home set to a certain scale. He also had little pieces of paper cut to the size of each of our furniture pieces. Yep, as you guessed it those pieces were at the same scale as the home plan. Therefore we were able to arrange and re-arrange until I had the design I wanted.
Isn’t that what you did for fun growing up?
Not much has changed. I’m still re-arranging pieces and parts until I create a final design. I truly love designing and I want to teach that to you.
The most popular question I get is, “I’d love to have you look at my yard one day when I can afford you.” That got me thinking. How about I make a product that gives homeowners the tools they need to make their dream yards become a reality? And the Landscape Design Made Easy online course was created.
I want to help you have the yard of your dreams where you can relax and entertain. Landscape Design Made Easy is a self-directed online course that takes you step-by-step through the design process to transform your yard. There might even be some little furniture pieces involved. 😉
The final result is a personalized workbook that’s your roadmap to making it happen.
